Updates on Diabetic Nephr

Chairman’s Message

Shaikh Abdulaziz

We at the Saudi Diabetes & Endocrine Association (SDEA) are pleased to launch the new website to communicate with the Saudi Arabian community at large, those with diabetes, their families, and the entire world. SDEA has enhanced the website to serve all and keep them updated with the latest educational guidelines for prevention and management of diabetes, obesity and other non-communicable diseases.

We welcome all suggestions and feedback from viewers of the website.

SDEA encourages all to assess their risks for diabetes and take the necessary preventive measures to reduce them. SDEA also recommends all community members to invest in their lifestyle, eat healthy and well-balanced meals, keep their body weight within the recommended range, exercise regularly and avoid smoking (active and passive) as well as avoiding beverages detrimental to their well-being.

SDEA also advises diabetics and individuals who are at risk of diabetes, to keep working with their healthcare teams to maintain their blood sugar, blood pressure and lipids within normal levels and take their medications properly. The well-being, health, and safety of each individual is our mission. SDEA aims to work collaboratively with all the concerned parties within the kingdom of Saudi Arabia to achieve its goals. Our message is keep healthy and safe
